The Forum is one of WUR’s educational buildings, so there is a good chance you will have lectures or practicals here if you come study in Wageningen. ‘Forum’ means ‘market’ in Latin, which is not a bad name for a building where so much comes together. In the building you can find a restaurant, a grand café, the Study Store where you can buy your books and a beautiful circular library. In this video, Tessa takes you around the library with all the study spaces. A lot of study associations also have their common rooms here.
The view from the top floors is fantastic – you can see far into the distance. And when the weather is nice, a lot of students sit outside in the sun on the benches and on the grass during their breaks – very ‘gezellig’ indeed!
