The Commerce Building, constructed in two stages in the early 1990s and contains design elements sympathetic to the nearby 1918 and 1991 wings of lvey Hall, is home to the Faculty of Agribusiness and Commerce (AGCM) and contains a majority of AGCM staff.
In addition, the building has a number of lecture theatres, tutorial rooms and the Bloomberg Financial Markets Lab (located in the Commerce Building Foyer). Students learn how to use the Bloomberg terminals to analyse financial markets, assess economic scenarios and interpret the key news developments that impact the global economy. The skills students acquire from this experience provide them with the confidence and advantages they need to be highly competitive in the job market.
Finally, academic and admin staff in AGCM are very helpful and friendly. Please come and see them if you have any questions. The AGCM Admin staff are on the 1st floor.
You have now arrived at the red-bricked Commerce Building.
