Please make a small map of the area on your right side in your own note book, viewed from above. Include for example the grass and the forest. This map should look in such a way that you could use it to explain the ecosystem to another person. These kind of maps are useful when you want to identify the different elements in an ecosystem and the potential impact they may have on each other. You can upload a photo of your map here!
Some help: First draw the trunks/main stems of the most important trees and/or solitary plants. Use different symbols or letters for the species. Draw the circumference of the crown around the trunk/stem. Then draw the outline of ground-covering species, bare spots, and other outstanding surface aspects.
